What has happened at Dragon Gate during the first year?
We are building and developing the area to enable new business opportunities in one of Sweden’s strongest traffic corridors, directly along the E4 motorway where north meets south, and east connects to west via road 291. The zoning plan process is ongoing, creating clear frameworks for establishment and future expansion.
At the same time, we are strengthening the technical infrastructure. The area is being restored and prepared. The arena has been cleaned for the first time in over 20 years, and a new pellet based heating facility has been installed. It can supply the entire area with heat and provides long term conditions for future construction.
The site has also started to fill with activity. Joey’s Gelato has established both production and a shop offering gelato, coffee and pizza. Godisdraken has opened with over 500 types of candy. Alsike Maskin is building its new facility on site, scheduled to open in May 2026.

We continue the development step by step, strengthening infrastructure and creating conditions for new jobs and businesses.
Interest in Dragon Gate is strong, as one of Sweden’s most iconic landmarks.
We look forward to another strong year ahead.
Join us on the journey.
